Contains
two quartz glass rods, an mdf base, pure gold about; quarter of a gram,
pure silver; about one gram and a set of instructions.
The quartz
glass rods don't melt at the high temperatures needed to fume.
Each one has a depression ground into both ends to contain the
ball of molten metal so that when one end gets worn out you can
use the other.
The rods fit into holes drilled in a small square of mdf
board.
The instructions help you assemble the kit and give helpful hints
on how to use it and what to expect in terms of results with a
trouble shooting guide and safety considerations.
You will need a torch running on an oxy/gas mix to use this kit.
Air gas torches are a little too low in temperature. |
